This year I took my first REAL VACATION in my over three years as Development Director of the MN Chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations. It's been sorta busy....

I drove up to the North Shore of Lake Superior in Minnesota and stayed at Ellie's Inn right next door to the Grand Marais Art Colony where I took a week-long course called "Abstractions of Nature" - it was pure bliss. Myself and 6 other artists were in the class with a wonderful instructor and we wound up hanging out a lot, having dinner together almost every night and just having a great time.

We will do this again next year!
